Does CMI
license individual ministers?
YES, as long as that minister is above reproach. The minister
must also agree with CMI’s Tenets of Faith. There are two
levels of credentials: Licensed and Ordained. The LICENSE
level of credentials provides the minister with official
ministerial recognition. The ORDINATION level of credentials
is the highest level of recognition for a minister and can be
applied for either after holding Licensed credentials with CMI
for two years or if transferring Ordination credentials from
another recognized denomination or organization.
Does CMI
license and ordain women?
YES, we feel the field of ministry is open to women wherever
God should lead and gift them.
Does CMI
support licensing those who have been divorced?
CMI takes every case individually and the leadership makes a
judgment objectively based on the Scriptures. Our desire is
to see restoration of life and ministry. We currently do have
ministers who have gone through divorce and hold credentials
with CMI.
What does CMI
offer to ministers?
CMI offers ministers a base for
networking and fellowship among pastors,
other Christian leaders, workers, and ministries around the globe. We
offer a conduit to the field of missions and benevolence through the network
of pastors and churches under our ministry covering.
What is CMI's vision?
Our philosophy of ministry is to lead people in the fulfillment
of reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will
seek to partner with people and ministries who share the same
heart and vision.
"Our goal
is to reach the nations with the Gospel, bring hope to the
hopeless, equip the Body of Christ to grow in its relationship
with Christ, and fulfill the Great Commission."
How is CMI achieving its vision?
CMI works through the
network team of pastors,
ministers and churches that fellowship with us around the
globe. This
involves church planting, church development and church
motivation to missions. CMI is dedicated to raising up
leaders and workers to fulfill the mandate to spread the
Gospel to the uttermost parts of the world. We also help
those who are less fortunate, especially children through our
network of CALEB Centers.
What ministries
are available through CMI?
CMI encourages its ministers
and the various associated ministries to run with their own personal
vision that God has given. However, as an organization,
we maintain standard expectiations for ministry and growth and we
are available to help facilitate
ministries by sending or connecting ministers and/or ministry teams and to coordinate short-term missions. CMI also
highlights the various ministries through regular reporting
via newsletters, ministers’ meetings, conferences, or on
our website.
